I always have been a writer who barely writes. One of my college professors told me “You can be a writer without ever putting pen to paper.”

He said it’s a way of being, a unique way of seeing the world that starts long before the  actual writing begins.

Yes…and not really.

This perspective gave me permission (I did not need) to not write very much. Up until now.
